STYLE Lauren Laverne

This time last week I was absolutely thrilled to find my Golden Snitch necklace featured in Lauren Laverne's column in the Observer Magazine! (Yes, I did call my mum while in the Sainsbury's frozen aisle, a basket full of fajita ingredients, clutching the Observer) The feature discusses how great statement jewellery doesn't have to be expensive. And to be on the same page as some of my jewellery favourites - Tatty Devine and Wolf & Moon to name a few was incredibly exciting, it made my day, evening trumped the Wimbledon tennis final!

If you would like to read the article, but missed the magazine, it's available online here: Affordable Jewellery

The Golden Snitch necklace is currently out of stock, but never fear, the components are on order and they will be back on the website as soon as possible. If you would like me to let you know when they're available, just drop me an email at: info@wallpaperrose.co.uk

I don't know about anyone else, but I am so enjoying the sunshine - summer is finally here and I'm making the most of London's parks. This weekend it was Regent's Park (anything to be close to the zoo!) and last weekend it was Hampstead Heath (Florence Welch spotting!)

Anyone for a BBQ?!

Come on skinny love just last the year

I apologise that's it's been all quiet on the western front as of late. Things have been non stop since I returned from Paris and I have so much I want to blog about, but don't have the time! I'm hoping the beginning of next week will be quieter - not only to catch you up, but to restock the website! My little shop is looking so sad and empty - not a good look for Christmas! Please don't hesitate to contact me if there is something out of stock that you desire, I'll put it to the top of my 'need to desperately restock' list.

Anyway, I thought I'd just do a quick little post to show you a few more of Wallpaper Rose's recent blog features. I've been meaning to say a massive thank you to everyone, I've had such lovely responses from blogs, emails and twitter recently, it's a little over whelming. I'm never sure with small shops like Wallpaper Rose if it's realised that frequently it is just a one person operation. I can't speak for other people, but for me it really does means a lot to know that what I make is appreciated.

So thank you!

Anyway, an even bigger thank you to the ladies above for their lovely posts!

Lyzi from Being Little
Kim from Sweet Monday
Milly from Pearls and Poodles
Shibani from Sweet Silhouette

(Again, there are many discount codes running around, most valid until 14th December. So do check out the features!!)

Lavina's Tea party

A friend of mine, the lovely Lavinia has just set up a rather wonderful business - Lavina's Tea Party.

Trust me.
It's as exciting as it sounds!
Essentially she's running a vintage china hire online shop for all your tea party needs! Despite the early on set of Winter (eg rain) I'm still in love with the romantic notion of tea parties and have an undying attraction to all things floral. Situated in the Cotswolds, Lavinia will also cater for local areas (see website for details), and having lived with the lady in question I know she makes some of the best cakes in town!
Personally I'm particularly coveting her cake stands - I've wanted one for ages to photograph my jewellery on. Sadly I don't currently have the finances to warrant buying one, however since I started writing this post a few days ago (things got hectic...) Lavina has releases a Trio Range - a tea cup, saucer and plate - for a mere £8 I'm mentally debating whether I can afford one (they're so pretty!)
These are my current favourites:

(I apologise for the strange colours of the photos - I used picnik, which is great for the rounded corners, but I should have messed around with the colours in photoshop instead!)

ANYWAY Lavinia's Tea Party can also be found on facebook here.

I know I showed you these recently, but they seem rather appropriate...
